Back in 1967, Dominic Longo opened a small Toyota dealership in a small storefront with just five employees. That first year, they sold 469 new and used vehicles, a number that made Longo Toyota the top-volume Toyota dealership in the entire country.

Fast-forward to today, and we're sitting on 50 acres, selling tens of thousands of vehicles every year. We've held onto that title as the world's largest Toyota dealership, right here at the same El Monte location where Dominic started. The Longo Toyota Story: From 1967 to the World's Largest Dealership

Dominic's vision stretched far beyond that converted gas station. By 1972, we'd already moved to a five-acre location and had over 100 people on staff. When Dominic passed in 1985, his family sold the dealership to Penske, which preserved our core values while providing the resources to expand further.

The late '80s brought our 21-acre complex. Our current setup spans 50 acres and includes everything: a spacious showroom, full-service and parts operation, plus our own Collision Repair Center. We've got Starbucks and Subway on-site, an AAA branch, and two Enterprise offices (because waiting around isn't enjoyable for anyone).
