2009 Assembly of Champions Winner Mariano Rubio

We are proud to announce that Longo Service Technician Mariano Rubio is the US winner of Toyota's Assembly of Champions. This is Toyota's highest award for a Service Technician and designates Mariano as the #1 Toyota Technician in the USA (out of 13,878 eligible technicians!) In addition to the dealership meeting management and customer service guidelines, Mariano won the award by being Toyota Certified at the Master Level and he had the highest combined Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician Qualification Test Score and ASE Composite Score. In fact, he was the only person to get a perfect 100% score on the Master Diagnostic Technician Qualification Test! Mariano joins 2002 Assembly of Champions winner Hideaki Suzuki who is now a Shop Foreman at Longo Toyota.

As the recipient of the Assembly of Champions Award, Mariano will represent the United States at Toyota's International Service Champions' Assembly in Nagoya, Japan. During his trip, Mariano will have the opportunity to learn new technologies at Toyota's headquarters and also do a good deal of sight seeing.
