The 2019 Toyota Tacoma is available in six different trims: SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro. The base engine offers a 2.7L DOHC 16-valve, 4-cylinder with variable valve timing and generates 159 HP with 180 lb-ft of torque with a 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. Higher trim engines feature a 3.5L V6 DOHC 24-valve direct-injection engine that produces 278 HP and 265 lb-ft torque. The 2019 Tacoma has a towing capacity of up to 3,500-lbs, with the off-road grade handling up to 6,700-lbs. The ¼-inch-thick armor skid plate helps protect crucial mechanical components underneath the front end. Available features include Crawl Control for driving difficult terrain, Multi-terrain Select to regulate wheelspin, and TRD-tuned FOX® Internal Bypass shocks for performance and control.

Performance is just one factor in the success of the Tacoma.  The options, both standard and available, bring the truck to a whole new level. The composite bed is created from an ultra-durable, fiber-reinforced sheet molded composite surface and includes a 120v outlet. The bed comes with an innovative deck rail system with four heavy-duty adjustable tie-down cleats and in-bed storage. Remote keyless entry is available as part of an option package and Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging is accessible. The available Entune™ audio system includes a 7-inch touch screen display with JBL® amplifier and premium speakers and allows you to access your phone, apps, weather, and take advantage of its navigation system.
