Review: 2020 Toyota Sienna

The Toyota Sienna is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine in tandem with an eight-speed automatic transmission to make 296-hp and 263-lb-ft of torque. The Sienna comes standard with front-wheel drive and offers the option for class-exclusive all-wheel-drive in all but the base trim. This ultra-low emission minivan earns an estimated 19 mpg in cities such as El Monte and 27 mpg on the Los Angeles highways. The Sienna will get you wherever you’re going in comfort and has the capability to tow up to 3,500 pounds for those special adventures.


Incredible cargo capacity with 150 cubic feet behind the first row, a convenient 60/40 Split & Stow 3rd Row® seat which delivers a flat loading space, remote keyless entry, and tri-zone automatic climate control are included. Dual power sliding side doors, a power liftgate, and a dual moonroof are available. Standard technology is comprised of the Entune™ 3.0 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay™ and Amazon Alexa compatibility, a 7.0-inch touch-screen display, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and five USB ports throughout the cabin. A Dual-view Blu-ray Disc™ entertainment center with a 16.4-inch color display, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a ten-speaker JBL® premium sound system are optional.


The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration tested the crashworthiness of the Sienna and gave it a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating. Standard safety features include lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision with pedestrian detection, a backup camera, and an advanced airbag system. Additionally, enhanced vehicle stability control, traction control, an anti-lock brake system, and smart stop technology also come standard. Optional features consist of blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear park assist sonar, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
