The distinctively styled C-HR subcompact SUV is fun to drive and has an impressive fuel economy. The new 2020 Toyota C-HR is scheduled for release this Fall. Design and Performance

The C-HR will be released with a new look for 2020. The front end is restyled with a newly designed front bumper, dominant honeycomb-patterned grille, and LED headlights. Additionally, modern 17-inch and 18-inch wheels will be introduced along with new bold exterior color options, including Supersonic Red and Hot Lava orange. You can opt for a two-toned exterior with a silver or black roof and upgrade the interior with a blue and black treatment. This sporty crossover is powered by a 144-hp 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine teamed with a continuously variable transmission. Included is a Sequential Shiftmatic™ Mode that lets you manually shift between seven virtual gears. The C-HR earns an estimated 31 mpg on the Los Angeles highways and 27 mpg through the streets of El Monte.

Technology

The Entune™ 3.0 Audio infotainment system works with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and Amazon Alexa compatibility, Bluetooth®, Siri® Eyes Free, advanced voice recognition, SiriusXM® satellite radio, a 6-speaker sound system, a USB port, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Also, standard is Safety Connect for emergency and roadside assistance and to locate your vehicle if stolen. Optional technology features consist of the Entune™ 3.0 Premium infotainment system, navigation, HD Radio™, and a Smart Key system with a push-button start.

Safety

The 2020 Toyota C-HR received the NHTSA 5-Star Overall Safety Rating**. The Toyota Safety Sense™ P technology suite is included and is comprised of lane departure alert with steering assist, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection and collision warning, automatic high beams, and full-speed dynamic radar cruise control. Also standard are hill start assist, a backup camera, LED headlamps, an advanced 10-airbag system, and the Star Safety System™ designed to help you avoid accidents. Available are blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, LED fog lamps, and an adaptive front lighting system that illuminates the sides of the road as you turn.
