El Monte City School District plans to use the funds to help create STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) labs and makerspaces at each of the district’s schools. El Monte Union High School District will utilize a portion of the proceeds towards a transportation career technical education program that gives students hands-on automotive industry experience. Additional proceeds will go towards supporting local efforts from Vision To Learn to serve students in need in East Los Angeles County.

It’s a hot 5 door hatch with only 2 seats. The MORIZO Edition exclusive features include: a higher power-to-weight ratio, increased rigidity, a closer gear ratio transmission, shorter differential gears, forged wheels, stiffened chassis, mono-tube shock absorbers and a minimalist interior wrapped in Ultrasuede.

This 2023 Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition is officially recognized by Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) as “Badge 001” of a limited series of only 200 GR Corolla MORIZO Edition vehicles produced and available for sale for the 2023 model year. “Badge 001” and the designation of Badge #001 by TMNA is denoted by the affixed badge to the left side of the dashboard. This 2023 Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition (as assigned by TMNA) “Badge 001” is offered for charity auction through Bring a Trailer. When Morizo was launched, Longo Toyota received multiple 2023 GR Corolla Morizo Editions and was fortunate to have one of them be assigned Badge #001 as designated by TMNA. All other MORIZO Editions received by Longo Toyota have been sold/delivered at MSRP to guests that had a deposit in place.
The net proceeds from the sale price obtained at the auction of this special edition vehicle will be donated by Longo Toyota as follows: 50% of the net proceeds from the auction sale will be donated by Longo Toyota to El Monte Public Schools. The other 50% of the net proceeds from the auction sale will be donated by Longo Toyota to Vision to Learn. Please note that the purchaser of Badge 001 is not entitled to claim a charitable tax deduction for this transaction. Net proceeds that will be donated by Longo Toyota exclude government fees and taxes, any finance charges, a dealer document processing charge of $45, any electronic filing charge and any emission testing charge and any auction related fees.
