What’s New?

The most notable addition to the 2024 Toyota Sequoia is the hybrid engine, replacing the 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 in the 2023 model. This exciting twin-turbo is the same as the one offered in the Tundra hybrid pickup truck. It boasts a perky gasoline engine and an electric motor for maximum power. The four-wheel-drive Sequoia Capstone can accelerate to 60 miles per hour in a speedy 5.6 seconds. It also shares the Tundra’s efficient 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for four-wheel drive capability on most. Four-wheel drive is already included on the TRD Pro.

The Nightshade edition joins the lineup exclusively on the Limited trims for the 2024 model year. It boasts 20-inch TRD matte black wheels to match its other exterior accents like the front grille, mirror caps, and overfenders. Limited models with the TRD Off-Road package also come with a blacked-out exterior. Platinum trims can now come with the same TRD Off-Road package that was previously optional on the Limited grade. The package adds a skid plate, an off-road suspension system, and Toyota’s CRAWL system. It also has an electronic locking rear differential and various off-road driving modes.

Exterior Design

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is available in the SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone trims. Enjoy standard gloss-black pillars, satin black roof rails, and black roof-mounted shark fin antennas. Color-keyed mirror caps and door handles with front touch sensors and 18-inch silver alloy wheels add interest. Each Sequoia comes with powerful LED headlights with daytime running lights, LED tail lights, and LED fog lights for maximum visibility. Interior Comfort

Inside the 2024 Toyota Sequoia’s spacious interior, you can seat up to eight passengers with three rows of seats. The 2024 Toyota Sequoia offers 11.5 to 22.3 cubic feet of space behind the third row. With the third row folded, you can increase this to 49 cubic feet of cargo space or 86.9 cubic feet with all rear seats folded. With so many configurations, the Sequoia offers the flexibility to accommodate passengers, cargo, or both. Inside, you’ll also find an adjustable cargo shelf system for additional storage on the go.
